This example project uses the following Virtual Edit features:

  • Source material was shot on a DV camcorder and imported using the integrated capture utility.
  • The clip browser and clip player were used to top and tail the DV into clips.
  • The dissolve and starburst transitions were used to edit the clips together on the timeline.
  • The audio timeline track was used to add some music ontop of the edits.
  • An audio fader clip effect was used to control the audio level and fade out.
  • Titles were created using the integrated title designer.
  • A fader clip effect was used to fade the titles in and out.
  • The renderer was set to create a Windows Media file suitable for playback on the internet.
